Columbia Boiler Company’s waste oil-fired boiler line services a diverse range of commercial and industrial applications, including biodiesel production, in-floor radiant heating and steam production. These specialized boilers are installed in churches, restaurants, car dealerships and car washes, oil recycling facilities, biodiesel plants, breweries and even colleges and high schools. Depending on the size of the boiler, the capital equipment investment is normally paid back in fuel savings in less than two years.
Using patented Shenandoah Manufacturing and Webster Engineering burner technologies, waste oil-fired boilers are able to burn spec and off spec biodiesel and recycle used vegetable oil and other petroleum-based waste oils and fluids to recover “free” energy in the process. Each gallon of waste oil contains approximately 140,000 BTUs of free energy.
Columbia Boiler offers a full line of boilers that produce low or high pressure steam or hot water. Boilers are available in sizes ranging from 5-150 horsepower.
