The Thermo-T tubular heat exchanger from Munters is designed to recover energy from industrial processes at temperatures up to 2,000°F, with up to 80 percent effectiveness. Built to handle high-temperatures and corrosive environments, the Thermo-T can be constructed with a variety of materials to best suit your application. Construction materials include 304L/316L/309S/310 stainless steels, C-276, 800HT and nickel alloys such as 600/601/625.
Thermo-T’s fully welded construction helps prevent cross-contamination. Integral thermal-expansion joints allow the heat-exchanging tubes to expand in high-temperature applications, without causing excessive stress to the unit. The insulated external case prevents expansion, allowing direct flange-to-flange installation with ductwork.
Adjustable tube size and spacing, single-pass and multi-pass models, airflows from 3,000-30,000 SCFM, and multiple airflow configurations ensure that Thermo-T is adaptable to multiple industrial tasks, including heat-recovery from oxidizers, ovens, dryers, incinerators, furnaces, cooling or heating process air, pre-heating combustion air, and tempering process or plant make-up air. Thermo-T is available with options to facilitate cleaning, including access doors and an integral water-wash system.
