Vecoplan Integrated Controls, a manufacturer of industrial control panels and plant-wide integrated control systems, promoted Ron Carter to electrical engineering manager. In addition to managing the engineering department at VIC, Carter’s responsibilities also will include overseeing the design and development of custom control panels and turnkey control systems integration for manufacturing plants. He also will oversee the manufacture and implementation of projects once the engineering phase has been completed.
In addition to his experience at VIC, Carter has a BSET from UNCC, and a combined 20 years of practical experience from stints at Commonwealth Brands, Lucent Technologies and R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, as well as theoretical experience as the lead Electronics Engineering instructor at Rockingham Community College.
